Clapton Sorting Office

This page is to display information relating to the campaign to block proposals by Royal Mail to close the Clapton sorting office. A meeting was held to discuss the issue, and all local residents in attendance oppose the move.

Below is a list of communication between CPNAG and Royal Mail to date

Letter of objection to Royal Mail
A letter to John Deere, Project Manager London East, Royal Mail Clapton Delivery Office, 227c Brooke Road, summarising the meeting held on June 7th between CPNAG members and John Deere and Mr Mason, to discuss the groups concerns on the issue.

Petition - latest development on this issue

It was suggested by a member of the group to pressure Royal Mail to keep the building as a collection point for parcels for local residents. Click above to read about the petition submitted to Royal Mail to try to convince them to do just that.
