CPnag Events.

Clapton Pond Neighbourhood Action Group have so far organised 3 successful events. The latest event, The Winter Grill, which took place in December 2003, and featured a BBQ with a selection of vegetarian food and Halal meat, and a public presentation of the pond redevelopment plans.

The primary reason for the event is to allow local people to view, on large billboards, the latest (and probably final) plans for the restoration management plans, prepared by Land Use Consultants. The project was started a few months ago, and CPnag are ready to start implementing the first phase of the plan. Boards with diagrams and explanations of the plans will be placed in the pond area and for people to see and comment on.

 The next event
There are no events currently planned.

There will probably be a pond clean and BBQ sometime in spring 2004.
