PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO OUR WEBMASTER MOVING OUT OF THE AREA THIS SITE HAS NOT BEEN UPDATED SINCE MARCH. WE ARE CURRENTLY TRYING TO RECRUIT SOMEONE TO MAINTAIN THE SITE. The group was formed to enable improvement of Clapton Pond and the surrounding area. We have organised several pond cleans, the latest of which included a free barbecue for all those who turned out to help. The event was organised to coincide with the Time Team's BIG DIG, which was a great success.

Meetings
CPNAG hold regular meetings to discuss ways to improve our local environment. We welcome new people to the meetings, and are always eager to hear your opinions. Monthly public meetings are normally held on the first wednesday of each month. For more info click here
Our next public meeting is on Wednesday July 7th 2004.
CPnag 3 Year Action Plan
The management committee has produced a report detailing the action plan for the group for the next 3 years.

Redevelopment of Clapton Pond
This project is ongoing, with the first phase soon to be underway. The project aims to improve the appearance and useablity of the two public spaces at clapton pond.

Welcome to the CPNAG website
The group was set up by local residents in May 2002 to promote the conservation, protection and improvement of Clapton Pond and the surrounding area. We hold monthly meetings to discuss ways to improve the local area, hold quarterly events and organise campaigns for local improvements.
Clapton Pond Neighbourhood Action Group welcomes further members to help organise, participate in and campaign for improvements.
The next CPNAG meeting
Due to the consultation with Land Use Consultants this months meeting will be held on Wednesday 10th September. at 7.30pm in the Gooch House Residents Hall, Kenninghall Road, Hackney E5 (behind the tower block, on the junction with Kenninghall Road and Lower Clapton Road).
